Rancho Las Lomas, a facility for weddings and other events in Silverado Canyon, hired Katie Blaus and Lindsay Priest in its new corporate sales and special events department. Blaus will manage the department and Priest will assist her. Blaus previously was an advertising and marketing consultant for the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa. Priest is finishing her bachelor’s in communications and event planning at California State University, Fullerton.

Newport Beach-based Newmeyer & Dillion LLP added Craig Glorioso as a transactional lawyer. He will be responsible for real estate, financing and business transactions. He also will advise clients on the formation of corporations, partnerships and hedge funds.
Murchison & Cumming LLP hired James Col-lins, William Naeve, David Winkle, Ellen Tipping, Terry Kesing-er, Gregory Sargenti, Cooper Collins and Kristie Mackey in its Santa Ana office. LehmanMillet hired Kirt Gentry as senior copywriter and Nicole Stark as senior account manager in its Irvine office. Gentry has more than 15 years of agency experience, most recently as vice president of Young & Rubicam Brands in Irvine. Stark will be responsible for maintaining key accounts. She previously worked at Allergan Inc.’s Pacific Communications in Costa Mesa as an account supervisor.

Allison Hoferer joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County as director of giving. She’ll manage the agency’s annual giving program and fundraiser. She previously spent seven years with the Orange County Performing Arts Center as associate director of individual giving.
Yasith Weerasuriya was named chairman of the World Affairs Council of Orange County. Weerasuriya, who is chief executive of Stanbridge College in Irvine, will oversee the nonprofit’s membership, fundraising and educational affairs.
United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County appointed Cathleen Collins chief executive. She previously worked as director of major gifts for CHOC Children’s Hospital in Mission Viejo. Collins will focus on fundraising and improving accessibility to resources for families of children with disabilities.

KDF Communities LLC in Newport Beach hired Sarah Woodward as partner. Wood-ward previously was vice president and regional manager of Brea-based Fremont Investment & Loan’s commercial real estate division in Irvine. She is a 25-year veteran of real estate finance and specializes in property valuation, debt restructuring and structured finance.
Santa Ana-based T.D. Service Co. promoted Jeff Lahiff to senior vice president and national account manager. Lahiff, who has been with the trustee company for two years, will work with lenders on foreclosure processing.
Grubb & Ellis Co. hired Gary Bechtel in its Newport Beach office as senior vice president. His responsibilities will include debt financing for clients and expanding the office’s mortgage brokerage division. Bechtel previously worked at Hometown Commercial Capital LLC as managing director of institutional accounts.
Sherrie LeVan joined Aliso Viejo-based Merit Rental Property Manage-ment Inc. as a housing property manager. LeVan has more than 12 years of experience as a Realtor and housing design consultant. She will manage several of the firm’s properties for lease in Orange County.

Too Faced Cosmetics Inc. in Irvine hired Leah Hundsness as senior vice president of international sales and marketing. She will be responsible for spearheading the company’s expansion into Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Previously Hundsness spent five years with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA’s Sephora, sourcing and marketing brands in the same regions.

Statek Corp. in Orange promoted Michael Dastmalchian to vice president of sales and marketing. He has been with the company since 2001, leading the engineering and manufacturing divisions for the electronics maker. In his new role he will be responsible for the launch and sale of new products.
