5.11 Tactical Adds Medical Scrubs to Product Lineup

Costa Mesa-based 5.11 Tactical is launching new high-performance medical scrubs designed for nurses and frontline healthcare professionals, marking the latest addition to its line of professional services apparel.  

5.11 typically designs and manufactures more durable apparel, footwear and gear for public safety professionals and government departments, distributing products to both wholesalers and its retail stores.  

The new medical apparel was developed alongside existing healthcare professionals to design a collection that can last through “long shifts and “constant movement” throughout the workday.  

The scrubs feature lightweight stretch fabrics, moisture-wicking technology, antimicrobial properties and ripstop durability engineered to extend garment life, according to the company.  

5.11 reported $124 million for the first quarter ended March 31, off 4.2% from a year ago.
