Knott’s Berry Farm to Hire 2,500+ Workers

Amusement park to host hiring event Feb. 18-24

Buena Park’s Knott’s Berry Farm announced plans to hire more than 2,500 seasonal associates for a variety of roles in 2023.

The 160-acre park is estimated to hold around 2,500 employees currently across its main campus, marketplace, water park, and the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel. Positions to be filled include ride operators, security, food and beverage, and others.

The hiring spree is part of a larger recruiting program run by Ohio-based parent company, Cedar Fair (NYSE: FUN), and affects all 13 of its amusement properties in the U.S. and Canada. Cedar Fair plans to add approximately 35,000 new employees to prep for upgrades across its portfolio during this year’s operating season.

Cedar Fair last year ranked No. 26 among Orange County’s largest employers, according to Business Journal data.

This year Knott’s Berry Farm has a couple of construction projects in the works from a full refresh of its Fiesta Village zone to a $25 million renovation of its namesake hotel.
