BKM has acquired the Carson Industrial Center from German-based DWS for $94.75 million, a move that continues to make the Newport Beach company the leader in the small-bay asset class.
The Cushman & Wakefield team of Jeff Chiate, Rick Ellison, Jeff Cole, Matt Leupold and Aubrie Monahan represented the buyer and seller.
The Carson Industrial Center at 1124 E. Del Amo Blvd. is a multi-tenant industrial park with suite sizes ranging from 8,880 to 53,474 square feet, dock-high and ground-level loading, 14-to 21′ clear heights, and parking. The property was 79% leased.
“This transaction highlights the ongoing demand for quality industrial assets in a lightly traded market with limited available inventory,” said Chiate. “With steady in-place cash flow and immediate value creation through lease-up, Carson Industrial Center represented a compelling investment opportunity and underscores the resilience of the small bay industrial sector in Southern California.”
