The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim last week unveiled holiday-themed entertainment, food and merchandise along with the return of the annual Festival of Holidays event.
The event, which kicked off in 2016 at Disney California Adventure, returns this year with nine food and beverage carts, performances and parades that highlight five different holidays.
The park also released new merchandise such as spirit jerseys and musical popcorn buckets. Select performances of the Disneyland Fireworks and World of Color will feature a Christmas setting as well.
The Walt Disney Co.โs newest Marvel Studios film, โWakanda Forever,โ debuted in theaters last week also with new characters, merchandise and art installations added to the parks, which coincide with the holiday offerings. The experiences will run until Jan. 8.
The events come as Walt Disney returns to the top of the Business Journalโs list of Largest Employers in Orange County, with 34,000 employees across Anaheimโs resort, hotels, and downtown district as of this month. That’s ahead of the 32,000 employees reported prior to the pandemic.
