Advertising software company Viant Technology Inc. (Nasdaq; DSP) in Irvine said it has appointed Amazon alumnus Dustin Kwan as its new chief product officer.
Kwan spent the last eight years leading ad products at Amazon, including growing Amazon DSP to one of the largest demand side platforms in the market.
“Dustin’s deep expertise leading product strategy, development and execution with multi-billion-dollar revenue goals will underpin every new offering Viant brings to market,” Viant CEO Tim Vanderhook said in announcing the appointment today.
Shares in Viant rose 0.7% to $6.20 apiece for a market cap of $379 million after the appointment of Kwan was announced, while the Nasdaq itself was down 3.6%.
