Luxury Apartments Living Arrives in Santa Ana

Greystar Real Estate Partners hopes The Row at Red Hill, the national developerโ€™s newest apartment complex, will be the standard for luxury residences in Santa Ana.

Orange Countyโ€™s most populous city isnโ€™t known as a destination for luxury living, especially when compared to houses, apartments and condos on the rental market in places like Newport Beach or Dana Point.

The Row at Red Hill and other projects in Santa Ana, such as Related Bristol, hope to alter that narrative.

The first tenants moved into the 1,100-unit apartment complex at 2010 E. Warner Ave., on Aug. 1. Greystar Real Estate Partners, developer and owner of The Row at Red Hill, has slowly filled a few hundred units with tenants. Rents at The Row range from $2,800 to $4,465, per month. Other properties in the area charge between $2,355 and $6,235 permonth, according to CoStar.

Jude Albaroudi, a senior associate with Greystar, said The Row at Red Hill would be the gold standard for luxury living in Santa Ana.

โ€œWeโ€™ve designed The Row as an oasis in the heart of Orange County. Residents have access to an extensive array of amenities, making transportation elsewhere hardly necessary.

Residents are able to enjoy the privacy of a tech forward, impeccable designed apartment, and can venture to one of the largest residential fitness and wellness centers in Orange County,โ€ Albaoudi told the Business Journal via email.

The propertyโ€™s luxury components include a 20,000-square-foot and two-level fitness center, multiple rooftop lounges with recreation spaces and swimming pools, salt room, meditation room, Zoom studios, co-working spaces, private bicycle rooms and dozens of electric vehicle charging stations.

A custom-made Carrara marble sculpture, flown in from Italy, stands in front of The Row at the corner of Red Hill and Warner.

Most of the apartments are one and two bedrooms, with movable kitchen islands and den spaces in select apartments. Some studios and three-bedroom units are also available.

Orange-based AO, the complexโ€™s architect of record, designed The Row at Red Hill with a New York City-inspired industrial tech aesthetic.

Greystar Real Estate Partners also boasts The Rowโ€™s proximity to major Orange County landmarks, including John Wayne Airport, Water Grill, North Italia, Habana, Fashion Island, South Coast Plaza, The District, Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Corona del Mar State Beach.

Albaroudi said the apartment complexโ€™s amenities and features help The Row at Red Hill stand out as luxury residential development in Santa Ana.

โ€œSanta Anaโ€™s central location in Orange County is highly appealing to working professionals because of its proximity to the airport and major job centers,โ€ Albaroudi said.

โ€œWith The Row at Red Hill, Greystar is drawing in that demographic, offering them a self-contained neighborhood with a sleek industrial tech aesthetic and amenities while simultaneously offering a destination spot for locals to take in an outdoor concert, peruse a farmerโ€™s market or enjoy the food and shop at our retail spaces.โ€

Three of The Row at Red Hillโ€™s five buildings are completed. The rest of the development is on pace to be finished by 2026.
