Newport Beach-based H. Hendy Associates announced the expansion of its healthcare and wellness studio, including the hiring of healthcare interior architect Kong Nguyen as its studio director.
“I’ve found that healthcare projects are arguably the most complex of all project types because of the stringent code requirements regulated by HCAI (formerly OSHPD) while prioritizing safety and maintaining departmental operations during construction,” Nguyen said in a statement.
“Healthcare facilities are constantly trying to keep up with the latest technological advances in medical equipment, processes, delivery and facilities operations.”
H. Hendy was 17th on the Business Journal’s latest annual list of the largest architectural firms when ranked by Orange County billings for the year ended June 30.
