A three-bedroom house with 4.5 bathrooms on Linda Isle sold for $17.9 million, or $5,366 per square foot, earlier this month.
The 3,336-square-foot house on a 5,580-square-foot lot at 30 Linda Isle in Newport Beach features a private dock, boat slip and 45 feet of frontage on Newport Harbor.
Some of the property’s amenities include a waterfront patio with fire pit, two interior fireplaces and harbor views from the primary suite.
The boat slip can accommodate a 60-foot yacht, plus two side ties.
Susie McKibben of Compass represented the seller. The buyer’s agent was Pablo Rener of First Team Real Estate.
The house was on the market for 32 days and sold at 1% more than the list price, according to the property’s Homes.com listing.
30 Linda Isle is located on one of Newport Beach’s exclusive islands. Linda Isle, a guard-gated enclave, has 106 residences. Amenities on the island include a clubhouse, tennis court and private beach.
Linda Isle was originally a sandbar called Shark Island. Scenes from the film “The Sands of Iwo Jima” starring Newport Beach resident John Wayne were shot on Linda Isle.
The island was developed with custom-made houses in the 1970s. Every house is a waterfront property with a private dock. There is only one road that leads onto Linda Isle.
Past residents have included Donald Bren while current homeowners are Mike Harrah and Anthony Hsieh.
