Solita Tacos & Margaritas, from Cypress-based Xperience Restaurant Group, opens its newest location in Long Beach today. This is the first Solita restaurant to open under Xperience since its sale to the restaurant operator in 2019.
Adding to the existing locations in Huntington Beach and Valencia, the 9,500-square-foot restaurant holds 318 seats and includes a 45-seat outdoor patio featuring a Baja-style menu and a collection of more than 60 tequilas and mezcals.
“From the up-and-coming culinary scene to event staples like the Acura Grand Prix and hallmark attractions like The Queen Mary, we are honored Solita is joining this one-of-a-kind community and bringing our mission to life by providing good food, great drinks, and long-lasting memories,” Chief Executive Randy Sharpe said in a statement.
Xperience operates 68 restaurants with its portfolio including Solita’s sister concept SOL Mexican Cocina, El Torito, and Las Brisas. The company expects sales to reach $250 million for the year, officials said.
The Cypress restaurant operator also announced this week Solita’s first location on the East Coast in Orlando will be opening this fall following a Chicago spot set for later this summer.
