Aliso Viejo-based orthopedic-focused medical device company ExsoMed Corp. has been acquired by medical device manufacturer Acumed, a Colson Medical LLC company part of Berkshire Hathaway Company’s Marmon Holdings Inc.
Details of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
The acquisition will enhance Acumed’s portfolio of hand and wrist products, company officials said.
“Demand for minimally invasive surgical devices continues to grow and the ExsoMed products are great additions to our minimally invasive offerings,” Acumed VP Milton Torres said in a statement.
