Scott Slater, the founder of the bacon-focused burger chain Slater’s 50/50, is bringing his latest concept to Orange County later this month.
Earlybird Breakfast Burritos, which has locations in San Diego and Idaho, is opening its first Orange County location at The Lab in Costa Mesa on Jan. 17. The fast-casual menu features one-pound burritos and bowls made with a range of ingredients including eggs, tater tots, tortilla strips, brown sugar bacon, guacamole, chipotle crema and a variety of cheeses.
Slater sold Slater’s 50/50, founded in Anaheim Hills and known for its bacon blended burgers, nearly a decade ago. He is the founder of Apex Brand Collection, which operates four concepts, including Earlybird.
