Osterbauer Compressor Service, a distributor of heating and cooling systems in Buena Park, has been acquired on undisclosed terms by Davidson, N.C.-based environmental-systems maker Ingersoll Rand.
The deal gives Ingersoll Rand direct access to Osterbauer customers in Los Angeles and a 24,000 square-foot main shop in Southern California.
All Osterbauer employees are expected to join Ingersoll and continue working in Buena Park when the deal is completed.
Osterbauer is a family-owned business that has distributed Ingersoll Rand products since 1934 to Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Santa Barbara County.
