Microsoft partner TrustedTech has released a report showing that the most senior leaders in organizations are not only driving AI usage, but are also the most frequent users of unapproved tools, creating significant and largely unmonitored security risks.
The data says executives are more than twice as likely to use unapproved AI tools, despite expressing the greatest concern about the risks.
“While companies continue to focus on controlling employee usage, TrustedTech’s data shows the real exposure is originating in the boardroom,’’ Irvine-based Trusted Tech said in a news release today.
