Irvine-based Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) announced its production of 4,401 vehicles for the second quarter of 2022. Manufactured at the Normal, Illinois facility, the EV maker also delivered 4,467 units during the quarter.
The company says these totals are on track for its annual production goal of 25,000 vehicles, which Rivian updated in the first quarter.
Currently valued at $26.5 billion, Rivian shares jumped 11.7% to $30.01 during midday trading.
