Rivian Automotive Inc. is expecting its incoming R2 electric vehicle, launching this spring, to boost deliveries in 2026 (Nasdaq: RIVN).
The first edition of the R2 will feature dual motors and all-wheel drive. Rivian executives said they were able to drive the first R2 manufacturing validation builds off the general assembly line at the recent expanded factory in Normal, Ill. in mid-January.
The Irvine-based automaker will share additional product and line-up details on March 12.
