Hyundai Launches New Mobile Maintenance Service at U.S. Dealers

Goal of 150 active mobile units by the end of 2026

Hyundai dealerships, backed by Fountain Valley-based Hyundai Motor America, are expanding a new mobile service program that dispatches vehicles to customers’ homes and workplaces for maintenance and routine repairs such as oil changes, tire rotations and software updates.

The automaker aims to have 150 active mobile units in the U.S. by the end of the year.

“This modern, seamless approach aligns with contemporary customer expectations for efficient and accessible service experiences,” Michel Poirier, vice president of aftersales and customer experience at Hyundai, said in a statement.

The service vans will be staffed with factory trained technicians using Hyundai parts and overseen by the independent dealers with support from the automotive company.

Hyundai Motor America, Orange County’s second largest automaker with almost 900 local employees, has more than 855 independent dealers in the U.S.
