Seal Beach-based Tyr Sport Inc. announced it signed 2020 Olympic gold medalist and world record holder in the 50-meter backstroke Hunter Armstrong.
Armstrong is the latest to join the swimsuit maker’s sponsorship roster, which includes seven-time Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, two-time Olympic gold medalist Bobby Finke and Olympic gold medalist Michael Andrew, among others.
“I’m honored to officially become a TYR athlete and join a team made of the greatest swimmers I know. My first partnership as a pro athlete couldn’t have been a better fit,” Armstrong said in a statement.
