Rivian to Deliver R2 Starting June 9

Rivian Automotive Inc. will start delivering its newest R2 electric vehicles on June 9.  

Customers who have reserved an R2 will be emailed to officially order the EV starting that Tuesday. Rivian is planning to make a “launch edition” of the R2 available to order first with more versions and trims scheduled to arrive in late 2026 and in 2027.  

The R2 vehicles will also enter Rivian showrooms in June for demo drives.  

Customer deliveries are expected to take two to six weeks.  

Rivian ended May 27 with shares trading at $14.70 apiece, up 2.2% with a market cap of nearly $20 billion (Nasdaq: RIVN).
