The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was off 0.79% to 2.75%.
The price of gold rose 0.35% to $1,335.20 per ounce.
RETAIL
Foothill Ranch-based teen and contemporary retailer Wet Seal Inc. was off about 14% to $1.51 for a market value of $127.51 million. The company said it expects challenges to continue in the teen retail market and guided below consensus estimates for the current quarter.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Endologix Inc. rose about 3% to $13.40 for a market value of $855.84 million. Analysts at BTIG LLC upgraded the company’s stock from “neutral” to “buy.” Endologix makes devices used to repair aortic abdominal aneurysms.
SERVICES
Newport Beach-based Acacia Research Corp. was up about 4% to $16.15 for a market value of $817.84 million. The company’s stock is up 9% so far this year.
