Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) in Irvine was up 5.5% to $22.30 and a $1.3 billion market cap on moderate volume. The company makes data analytics software.
HEALTHCARE
ChromaDex Corp. (NASDAQ: CDXC) was up 7.7% to $3.13 and a $144 million market cap. The maker of ingredients for dietary supplements and other products reported a lower quarterly sales and a higher net loss which it attributed in part to the ending of a supply deal with a big customer and litigation that produced a one-time loss of about $750,000 in the quarter. ChromaDex touted its international and consumer market expansion: it recently got a $25 million investment by a Hong Kong billionaire and launched its first “functional food product” for direct-to-consumer selling.
RETAIL
Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) in Irvine was up 4.5% to $8.89 and a $233 million market cap on moderate volume. The company runs a chain of western wear retail stores.
Autobytel Inc. (NASDAQ: ABTL) in Irvine was up 5.7% to $8.51 and a $110 million market cap. Shares in the auto sales leads supplier this week regained losses that came after a negatively received quarterly report last week.
