Sunstone CEO John Arabia Resigns

Irvine-based Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. (NYSE: SHO) announced Thursday that John Arabia has stepped down as chief executive officer and president, effective immediately. 

The company’s chairman, Douglas M. Pasquale, will replace Arabia as interim chief executive. Pasquale is the current CEO of investment and consulting firm Capstone Enterprises.  

Sunstone added that it will hire an executive search firm to find a permanent replacement for Arabia, who has acted as CEO since 2015.
