Marriott Irvine Spectrum has officially announced Che Sutton as the hotel’s new general manager.
Sutton entered the role last November following his previous position as dual general manager at the Residence Inn and the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Tustin. The new official has worked with the Marriott company since 2016 in various roles at resorts from Los Angeles to Arizona.
Two other additions to the Marriott Irvine Spectrum team include Nelson Sanchez as the new executive chef, who will oversee the hotel’s Heirloom Farmhouse Kitchen and Hive & Honey rooftop bar, and Charline Bianchi as the director of room operations.
Opened in 2017, the 271-property counts over 18,000 square feet of meeting space and includes 50 residential suites. Marriott Irvine Spectrum is the city’s sole AAA four-diamond hotel.
