Local hotels reported gains across the board in October according to a monthly report by CBRE hotels.
Revenue per available room jumped 5% to $173.73; average daily rates rose 3.4% to $205.25; occupancy increased 1.7% to 84.7%.
CBRE tracks numbers in seven OC submarkets: Anaheim, Costa Mesa, the Airport area, North OC, South OC, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach.
Anaheim reported the highest gains in September for average rates and revenue, increasing 6.4% to $224 and 8.6% to $199, respectively.
Costa Mesa had the highest bump in occupancy, rising 2.8% to 82.9%.
Newport Beach was tops for rates and RevPAR, increasing 3% to $292.67 and 1.1% to $239.87. Anaheim had the highest occupancy of 88.9%, up 2% from the year prior.
Year to date, rates and room revenues increased about 2% while occupancy dipped 0.1%.
