The disaster recovery contractor works with companies that need assistance following natural or man-made disasters.
Its ATI Alert app had been used by company employees and helped streamline operations and communications within a single, digital platform. That makes sense given the size of the ATI organization.
The company counts 20 branch offices and more than 1,300 employees. Late last year, the company marked its first acquisition in its 31-year history with the purchase of East Coast restoration firm Mark 1 Restoration Service Inc.
The app was built on the engine of Washington D.C.-based RockDove Solutions Inc., a developer of a crisis management platform, and took about six months to launch at ATI internally. After seeing the impact within ATI, the decision was made to roll it out for free to customers, an ATI spokesperson said.
ATI Alert helps with submitting incident alerts, crisis plans, creating checklists that can be used by multiple people, contacting an insurance provider or broker and other aspects of crisis management.
The company said the app, available for Apple and Android devices, is designed for mid- to large-property portfolios. It also works with individual customers on app implementation and training.
There have been about 1,000 downloads of the app so far, the company said.
