Angels Name Molly Jolly Team President

Former President Carpino Steps Aside After Two Decades with Organization

The Los Angeles Angels have named long time executive Molly Jolly as the club’s next president, while former president John Carpino prepares to step aside after more than two decades with the organization.

Jolly, who has been with the Angels for 26 years and currently serves as the Angels’ senior vice president of finance and administration, will take over the role April 6, becoming the ninth president in franchise history and the first woman to hold the position.

Jolly will be responsible for overseeing the club’s day-to-day business operations, including marketing, communications, revenue strategy, and facility management at Angel Stadium.

Carpino will remain with the team to help with the transition and special projects.

“John has been one of the cornerstones of the organization for over two decades,” said Angels Owner Arte Moreno. “His impact goes beyond the field, shepherding this organization through historic growth with an unwavering dedication to our fans, employees and our players.

“As we begin our 66th season, Molly’s deep experience in all aspects of the organization, and her passion for our community and team make her the perfect leader in our next chapter of Angels Baseball,” Moreno added.
