HyperX, the Fountain Valley-based gaming division of HP Inc., said it signed on famous DJ and songwriter Zedd as its newest ambassador.
The video game equipment maker will serve as the official supplier for Zedd’s gaming microphones, while Zedd will promote and design its products.
“HyperX has supported my passion for gaming since we first connected via Twitter, several years ago,” Zedd said in a statement. “Their products are a major part of my gaming lifestyle and I am grateful for the ongoing support.”
The gaming division was acquired by HP last year in a $425 million deal with Fountain Valley-based computer memory products maker Kingston Technology Inc. HyperX’s product portfolio includes headsets, keyboards, mice, mouse pads and console accessories.
