Howard’s Appoints Two New Executives

Michelle Nein promoted to president, Stacy Leiker to COO

La Habra-based appliance retailer, Howard’s, has promoted Michelle Nein to president and Stacy Leiker to chief operating officer.
Nein previously worked for BSH Home Appliances Division for its Thermador company and also led marketing and e-commerce teams under Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Kia and Hyundai. She started at Howard’s in 2019.
“[Nein] has inspired the organization to improve and simplify the customer experience at Howard’s,” said Chief Executive John Riddle. Nein’s goals are to continue market expansion, increase market share, and launch a new delivery and installation program, he said.
Leiker counts 31 years in the appliance retail industry and previously held the chief information officer role at Howard’s. Both executives are based at the company’s La Habra headquarters and currently serve as board members.
Howard’s is looking to grab 10% to 15% of the appliance retail market in Southern California by 2024, according to officials. The company’s latest local move includes a new retail spot at The Market Place in Tustin. It has 15 retail locations in California.
