Tropicana Apartments, a 21-unit apartment complex at 201 10th St. in Huntington Beach, traded for $7.05 million.
The trade marks the largest transaction over the past decade among multifamily properties in downtown Huntington Beach, according to brokers that worked on the sale.
The deal for the property, which runs 10,096 square feet blocks away from Coast (1) Highway, represents about $698 per square foot.
The undisclosed buyer, who’s based in the city, paid all cash for the property. The seller, a private investor also based in Huntington Beach, was represented by CBRE’s Dan Blackwell and Mike O’Neill.
“This is the first time the property has been available for sale in over four decades,” Blackwell, CBRE executive VP, said in a statement.
