A three-level house measuring nearly 10,000 square feet and offering views of Catalina Island, Newport Harbor and the Pacific Ocean was snagged almost as soon as it was put on the market.
Listing agents Rex Mckown and Marcy Weinstein of Compass sold the 9,920-square-foot estate at 10 Fairway Point in Newport Coast’s Pelican Hill neighborhood.
The six-bedroom and nine-bathroom house sold for $24 million on Nov. 6, after being on the market for nine days.
The estate sits on a 21,500-square-foot front row parcel and is adjacent to a golf course.
The house also features a home-office with ocean views, billiards room, wine cellar, multiple balconies and loggias and an entertainment level that opens to the pool area.
The estate sold for 14% less than the listed price and at $2,419 per square foot, per Homes.com.
Rob Smith of Compass represented the undisclosed buyer.
