Ensign Acquires Senior Care Properties in California, Iowa

Counts 396 healthcare operations in total

The Ensign Group Inc., a San Juan Capistrano provider of senior living services, today announced the acquisition of two properties in California and Iowa.

Ensign purchased a 46-unit memory facility in Pleasant Hill, California, as well as a 62-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Both acquisitions bring Ensign’s growing portfolio to 396 healthcare operations, which includes 48 senior living operations across 17 states, according to the company.

Shares in Ensign were little changed at $165.45 apiece and a $9.6 billion market cap (Nasdaq: ENSG).
