Nature Care Buys 2 More Companies

Nature Care Services, a Newport Beach-based provider of gardening services for apartments and commercial buildings, bought two companies that will almost double its employee count to 170.

Nature Care, which has 90 employees, said it purchased Grants Landscape Services of Santa Ana with 60 employees and Shooter Company of Novato with 20 employees. Terms were not disclosed.

“This is part of a rollup M&A strategy,” Nature Care Chief Executive Anuj Gupta said.

Previously, it purchased Bay Pro Landscape Services in San Jose, Richard Cohen Landscape Maintenance division in Lake Forest and Nature Care in Gardena.

Nature Care Services, which dates to 1976, said it specializes in renovations, irrigation system repairs and regular maintenance. It services homeowner associations, apartment buildings, and businesses.
