Smart Circle International LLC has purchased the former headquarters of William Lyon Homes in Newport Beach for $8.5 million.
The referral marketing agency will move from its Foothill Ranch headquarters into the two-story, 32,093-square-foot property at 4490 Von Karman Ave, just south of the John Wayne Airport.
Smart Circle offers customer-acquisition and retention programs such as loyalty cards, implemented via face-to-face marketing. Its client list includes Atlanta Braves, The Catalina Flyer in Newport Beach and DirectTV of El Segundo, according to the company.
The building will also house its sister company Innovage, a merchandise supplier.
Anthony DeLorenzo, Pat Scruggs, Paul Jones and Gary Stache, brokers with the Newport Beach office of CBRE Group Inc., represented both the buyer and seller of the office.
William Lyon Homes moved its headquarters to the Irvine Company’s MacArthur Court office complex in Newport Beach earlier this year.
