BANKING

Wells Fargo & Co. promoted Shelby Durbin to business relationship manager. She will be based out of Irvine. Durbin will be responsible for managing small business clients and has been with Wells Fargo for five years.

FINANCE

California Association of Business Brokers elected Steven Benson as senior vice president. Benson is from VR Business Brokers in Huntington Beach. George Lanza also was added to the board. Lanza is from Plethora Businesses in Orange. The California Association of Business Brokers is a trade group whose members assist clients in selling, buying and evaluating businesses.

The Institute for Family Wealth Counseling in Newport Beach hired Marty Jensen as executive director. Jensen has more than 25 years of experience in corporate executive management. He has lectured on wealth management and investment topics for a number of graduate business schools.

Lisa Rehburg was hired as vice president of national sales at Orange-based Quotit Corp., a unit of Orange-based Word & Brown Insurance Administrators Inc. that makes software for insurance companies. Rehburg previously served as vice president of national sales for Word & Brown Insurance Administrators.

LAW

Christian Stouder was hired as managing partner at the Santa Ana office of Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP. Stouder practices product liability and real estate litigation. He is a member of the American Law Firm Association and is on the steering committees of the law firm management, product liability and retail practice groups.

Costa Mesa-based Rutan & Tucker LLP promoted Rob Marcereau to partner. Marcereau has been involved in business litigation and in large construction project disputes, representing contractors and design professionals. He also is a member of the firm’s trial section.

MARKETING

Julia Meza was promoted to account executive at Integrated MarketingWorks in Newport Beach. Meza joined the company in 2008 and has led Hispanic marketing for Avocados from Mexico, a trade group.

MEDIA

Troy Burlage was promoted to senior vice president of sales at Irvine-based Post Modern Group, a video production company. Burlage will be responsible for the creative and broadcast studios divisions. He previously was vice president of sales.

Laguna Beach-based MacGillivray Freeman Films, which produces movies for IMax theaters, hired Craig Thompson as senior director for business development. Thompson will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities for the company’s films.

NONPROFIT

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County in Newport Beach added Jim McKennon to its board. McKennon previously worked in the hospitality, gaming and restaurant industry throughout his career. He has also served on a number of foundations for his children’s schools.

Alzheimer’s Family Services Center in Huntington Beach added Bonnie Olsen, Thomas Linden and Margot De Ramirez to its board. Olsen is a clinical psychologist and professor at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Linden is president and chief executive of Linco Investment Co. in Newport Beach. Ramirez works as account executive and business developer for OM Workspace in Irvine.

REAL ESTATE

Florida-based Foreclo-sure Response Team hired Larry Bird as vice president of mortgage servicer relations. Bird will be working as a corporate consultant from BirdRock Enterprises in Anaheim, where he is president. He has more than 20 years in the real estate mortgage industry.

Chris Cole was promoted to principal at the San Juan Capistrano office of Development Planning & Financing Group Inc. Cole has been with the company for seven years.

RETAIL

Anaheim-based Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. hired Robert Cameron as senior vice president of marketing. He previously worked at Levi Strauss & Co. as vice president of Levi’s brand marketing.
