ARTS

The Wooden Floor in Santa Ana, previously known as Saint Joseph Ballet, hired Kelly Cornell as director of development. Cornell has more than 10 years of experience with nonprofit management and fundraising. She previously worked at the Laguna Art Museum as development director.

AUTOMOTIVE

Larry Alderson, Mark Drewitz and El Hathaway joined the sales team at

Crevier Classic Cars in Costa Mesa. Alderson is a resident of Laguna Niguel and specializes in Ferraris and exotic cars. Drewitz is a resident of Laguna Hills and specializes in late 1960s and early 1970s muscle cars. Hathaway is a car collector from Laguna Beach and specializes in Jaguar restorations.

BANKING

Wells Fargo & Co. promoted Reza Sare-maslani to private bank-er at its Newport Coast office. Saremaslani previously was the store manager at the same location. He will be responsible for managing investments for clients.

GOVERNMENT

The city of Seal Beach hired Mark Perisco as director of development services. Perisco has 18 years of experience working as a public planner in California. He previously was the community development director for the cities of West Hollywood and Calabasas.

Paul Workman was promoted to police chief at the Laguna Beach Police Department. Workman has served as interim police chief since April. He has been with the department for 30 years and previously was a police captain.

INSURANCE

Matt O’Connor was hired as vice president at Irvine-based SullivanCurtisMonroe LLC. O’Connor previously worked as an account executive in the construction division at AON Corp. in Irvine. The company also hired Josh Mogush as a life insurance and executive benefits associate.

Santa Ana-based First American National Default Title Services, a unit of Santa Ana’s First American Corp., promoted David Tiberio to client relations and business development manager. Tiberio previously worked as the company’s foreclosure specialist. He will work within the recently launched national residential rental services division.

LAW

Los Angeles-based Latham & Watkins LLP hired Michael De Vries and Wesley Holmes as associates in its Costa Mesa office. De Vries is a patent attorney and specializes in intellectual property. Holmes is a corporate attorney and represents both private and public companies.

MEDIA

Tasha Huang joined Business Wire, a unit of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., as its regional sales manager in Newport Beach. Huang has 19 years of experience in sales and previously worked in the national accounts division at Costa Mesa-based EPS Way. She will be responsible for sales and operations in OC.

MARKETING

Julie Ryder joined Cost Mesa-based Golden Communications Inc. as director of business development. Ryder previously worked at IBM Corp. as a senior sales representative. Golden Communications is a Web design and digital marketing firm.

NONPROFIT

The Great Park Conservancy board elected Marian Bergeson as chair. Bergeson was the first woman to serve in both the state Assembly and state Senate. Other officers elected were David Horowitz, a businessman and philanthropist, as vice chair; Robert Currie, a former partner of Latham & Watkins, as secretary; and John Katkish, president of First Management Group in Washington, D.C., as treasurer.

Tustin-based Big Broth-ers Big Sisters of Orange County hired Keith Rhodes as chief executive. Rhodes has 20 years of experience working with abused and neglected kids in residen-

tial care. He previously served as executive di-rector at Santa Ana-based Boys Town California.

REAL ESTATE

Jeff Okamoto was elected to the board of the Irvine-based Building Industry Associa-tion Orange County chapter. Okatomo has been an active member of Building Industry Association for almost 20 years. He is the vice president of land development for RBF Consulting in Irvine.

SPORTS

Advantage Tennis Aca-demy in Irvine added Kean Feeder to its coaching staff. Feeder has more than five years of experience coaching kids and is a nationally ranked tennis player. He also coached tennis while earning a business degree from Boise State University.

TECHNOLOGY

Adam Spice joined Symwave Inc. as chief financial officer. Spice previously worked at Irvine-based Broadcom Corp. as vice president of financial and corporate development. Symwave is a chipmaker based in Laguna Niguel.

Jim Hawkins joined Irvine-based Toshiba Business Solutions Inc. as vice president of operations. He will be responsible for daily operations, including management of revenue, productivity and acquisitions. Hawkins previously worked at Danka Business Sol-utions PLC in Irvine as vice president of field operations.
