It’s All About H.E.R.
Mary Claire Haver, MD, FACOG, CMP, New York Times best-selling author of “The New Menopause,” keynote speaker, H.E.R. Summit
The Hoag Hospital Foundation’s fourth annual H.E.R. Summit by Hoag raised $300,000 to support the expansion of women’s health services at Hoag’s Sun Family Campus in Irvine. Opening in late 2026, the new state-of-the-art facilities will bring together a multidisciplinary team of specialists, ensuring greater access to comprehensive care from fertility and maternity to breast care, menopause and other health issues important to the community.
Held Sept. 10 at VEA Newport Beach, a Marriott Resort & Spa, the Summit brought together more than 500 women for a day dedicated to advancing women’s health at every stage of life. This year’s program spotlighted midlife health with keynote speaker Mary Claire Haver, MD, FACOG, CMP, New York Times best-selling author of “The New Menopause.” The event also included expert-led panels on heart health, breast cancer and fertility.
The Summit also hosted the H.E.R. Market, which showcased local women-owned businesses, as well as the Wellness Lounge, which offered interactive experiences designed to inspire holistic healing and relaxation.
The H.E.R. Summit was made possible by sponsors including Lisa Argyros/Argyros Family Foundation, Ueberroth Family Foundation, Glidewell Dental, Modera Inc., Skin Spirit, South Coast Plaza and the Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundation.
