Suntsu Electronics bought a 12,200-square-foot flex industrial building at 310 Goddard in Irvine from an undisclosed seller for $5.3 million, which comes out to about $437 per square foot.
The Irvine-based electronics manufacturer and distributor plans to use the combined office and warehouse as its own facility, according to Mark Zuvich, president of Corporate Advisors.
The building is just south of the Pretend City Children’s Museum and in the same industrial area as Christ Our Redeemer Church.
“Acquiring this facility represents an important milestone for Suntsu Electronics as the company continues to invest in its future growth,” said Zuvich, who represented Suntsu in the transaction. “Owner-user opportunities of this quality remain limited in Irvine, and this acquisition allows Suntsu to secure a long-term operational headquarters.”
Zuvich said this deal reflects a larger trend in Orange County, especially in industrial supply constrained Irvine: more companies are choosing to buy facilities rather than lease when they can.
