The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 1.6% to 1.68%.
The price of gold was up 0.8% to $1,272.
TECHNOLOGY
Costa Mesa-based TTM Technologies Inc. was down 2.3% to $7.83 and a $784 million market cap on moderate volume. The company makes printed circuit boards.
Irvine-based Ubiquity Inc. was up 4% to 34 cents and a $76 million market cap. Ubiquity provides technology tools for connecting companies with consumers. It named a new interim chief executive this morning and earlier this week said it will spin off its broadcast production division into a new company.
