Irvine-based software company Kofax has purchased Psigen, a provider of document capture, content management and workflow automation software headquartered in Huntsville, Ala. Financial terms were not released.
Kofax Chief Executive Reynolds Bish said in a statement today the acquisition adds to his company’s existing document capture software, adds content management software to the product portfolio and enhances automation among other benefits.
Kofax’s software speeds up handling of documents and invoices.
The acquisition follows Kofax's 2019 purchases of Nuance Document Imaging and Top Image Systems.
