ENGINEERING

John De Salvo joined Wright Engineers in Irvine as a senior project manager. Wright Engin-eers specializes in structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sustainable design. Prior, De Salvo was president of Pacifica Engineers.


HOTELS

Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel named George Munz director of sales and marketing. Munz’s responsibilities include group, business travel, catering and leisure sales, as well as marketing, revenue management and strategic planning.


LAW

Fragomen Del Rey Bernsen & Loewy LLP in Irvine added Mitchell Wexler to the firm’s executive committee. Wexler is a partner at the firm and practices immigration law with a focus on corporate immigration law.

The Irvine office of Sedgwick Detert Moran & Arnold LLP hired J. Craig Williams as a partner and Joseph McFaul as special counsel. Williams handles complex business litigation with an emphasis on environmental, intellectual property, labor and technology law. McFaul focuses on real estate, admiralty and environmental matters.


MEDIA

Matt Degen was named automotive editor at Santa Ana-based Orange County Register Communications Inc., a unit of Irvine-based Freedom Communications Inc. that publishes the Orange County Register and other publications and Web sites. He will expand coverage in the automotive industry.

Irvine-based Entrepreneur Media Inc. hired Mike Kessler as deputy editor. He has been an editor at magazines such as 5280, Skiing, Outside and No Boundries. His work has been featured in publications such as Details, Men’s Journal, New York Times Magazine and Outside.


NONPROFIT

Forum for Corporate Directors in Newport Beach added Dave Berkus, Bala Iyer, Dennis Leibel and Ryan Rieches to its board. Berkus is founder and former chief executive of Computerized Lodging Systems Inc. Iyer currently is serving board positions at Aliso Viejo-based QLogic Corp., Life Technologies Corp. of Carlsbad and Newport Beach’s Conexant Systems Inc. Leibel is chairman of Irvine-based Microsemi Corp. Rieches is cofounder of RiechesBaird, an advertising agency in Irvine.

Reomac, a not-for-profit trade association serving the mortgage default industry, added Ivan Choi of the Irvine office of Countrywide Financial Corp., Shelly Kaye of Westminster and Mia Semo with National Default Servic-ing LLC in Lake Forest to its board.

Mission Hospital Foundation in Mission Viejo added Douglas Corbin to its board. Corbin is founder of San Diego-based Paragon Charitable Service Group Inc., a company that specializes in philanthropic consulting. He is also cofounder of Coto de Caza-based Ryan’s Reach, an organization that helps

victims of traumatic brain injuries and their

families.

The Orange County Council of Boy Scouts of America added Ron Draper, Jose Velasco, Tanner Boles, David Williams, James Andreoli, Scott Baugh, Mark Wille, Greg Mills, Neil Blais, Sandra Hutchens, Pierre Mikhail, David Schmid, Ed Cadena and Michael Hanifin to its board.


PRINTING

Frank Arevalo joined Costa Mesa-based C2 Reprographics as hub store manager. He is in charge of daily production.


REAL ESTATE

Newport Beach-based Core Realty Holdings LLC’s cofounder Russ Colvin was named chairman emeritus of the board. Colvin currently is president and chief executive officer.

Gary Braun joined the Irvine office of Johnson Capital as senior vice president. He has worked with insurance companies, commercial banks and credit companies. Braun will focus on originating, negotiating, un-derwriting and placing commercial real estate debt, equity and mezzanine capital for clients across the country.


TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based Custom Silicon Solutions Inc. hired Paul Stapinski as senior salesperson in the business development department. Stapinski has experience in sales, business development and sales management.


TRANSPORTATION

Mission Viejo-based Kelley Fleet Services LLC named Mike Parks vice president of maintenance. Parks will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and policies, customer service and national vendor contracts.
