ADVERTISING

Lawrence, Mayo & Ponder, Newport Beach promoted Andrea Caillier to senior account coordinator. Cailler, was previously an advertising assistant at Guess Handbags in LA.

The T & O; Group in Irvine promoted Lynn Evans to vice president. Evans, who was previously associate creative director, will continue to oversee the creative direction of her current accounts.


BANKING

Brian Hepburn was named consumer region executive for Bank of America. Hepburn, who was previously consumer region executive for the west side of Los Angeles, will be responsible for managing consumer operations in North Orange County.

California Bank & Trust added 30-year industry veteran Bob Stockwell as vice president. Stockwell will be based in the San Clemente corporate banking office.

Eldorado Bank in Laguna Hills promoted Paul Rodeno to chief administrative officer. Rodeno, a 14-year industry veteran, was previously with First Interstate Bank.


BUSINESS SERVICES

Jill L. Starr joined 76 Lubricants Co., Costa Mesa as human resources manager. Starr will oversee the company’s administrative and marketing groups and terminals in LA, Portland and Savannah, Ga.

Katherine Burdick joined RBF Consulting in Irvine as vice president of human resources and corporate affairs. Burdick comes to RBF Consulting from a technology services company where she was vice president for 12 years.


EDUCATION

Coastline Community College, Fountain Valley, added Kate Shelley to the staff. Shelley, who was previously a Silicon Valley advertising agency principal, will work with students in the development of digital computer skills.


ENTERTAINMENT

Kerry Smith and Ron Perrella were elected to the board of directors of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of Masters in Laguna Beach. Smith has exhibited at the Festival for five years. Perrella, a Chicago native, is experienced in advertising, marketing and fundraising for nonprofit organizations.

Judith O’Dea Morr was appointed executive vice president for the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa. Morr, who was previously vice president of programming, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center’s current facilities while continuing to head all the programming activities.


GOVERNMENT

Assemblywoman Patricia Bates (R-Laguna Niguel) named Jill Rydell-Gibson her district coordinator. Rydell-Gibson’s responsibilities will include managing district staff in Bates’ Laguna Niguel and Oceanside offices.

Bonnie Prouty Castrey of Huntington Beach was named chair of the Federal Labor Relations Authority by President Clinton. Castrey, a private arbitrator and mediator for employment and labor matters, is a former commissioner of the Federal Meditation and Conciliation Service.


HEALTHCARE

Suzanne Shirley was appointed vice president of investor relations for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. in Santa Ana. Previously, Shirley was vice president of investor relations and public affairs for ARV Assisted Living Inc. in Costa Mesa.

SK & A; Information Services Inc., Irvine, announced the following staff changes: Alfred Cinquina Jr. joined as senior account manager; Michael McCavera was promoted to vice president, Eastern region; Lori Connell-Snider was promoted to manager of human resources; Katherine Nelson-Daigle was promoted to director of finance.


INSURANCE

Joe Rowland, executive VP for the insurance brokerage firm Sterling West, has opened an office in Brea. With almost 20 years of insurance experience, Rowland is responsible for Sterling West’s growth in the Southern California brokerage marketplace.


MARKETING AND PURLIC RELATIONS

Linda Denton joined Young & Rubicam Inc. in Irvine as vice president, director of human resources. Denton comes to Young & Rubicam from The Denton Group, where she was president.

Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados Inc., Newport Beach, promoted Gabriella Garza to senior account executive and Marcela Vergara to account executive. Both are based in Newport Beach.

Summer Emmons joined Brower, Miller and Cole in Newport Beach as production manager. Emmons comes to the firm from Paychex, where she was a supervisor.


REAL ESTATE

Glenn Reindhal and Stephen Murray were named project managers for Andrew L. Youngquist Construction in Costa Mesa. Reindhal was previously a project engineer for the company; Murray was a project manager for Austin/Jones Corp.

John Laing Homes, Irvine, promoted Denise Murphy to corporate director of marketing and sales from sales and marketing manager for the company’s Orange County division.

Regis Contractors, Irvine, announced the following promotions: Ron Dyer to vice president of construction; Brad Teeters to vice president-senior project manager; Tyson Jacobsen to vice president-senior project manager of development projects. Regis Contractors is an affiliate of Sares-Regis.


RETAIL

Bonnie Baskin joined Georgette Klinger as salon director for South Coast Plaza. Baskin, a 20-year veteran of the beauty and skin-care profession, came to South Coast Plaza from the Oasis Spa at Sports Club/Irvine.

Eric P. Bauer was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer at Tickets.com Inc. in Costa Mesa. Bauer comes to Tickets.com from Choice Hotels International, where he was vice president of strategy and business development as well as vice president of finance and planning.


TECHNOLOGY

Imelda Ford was named vice president, technology and operations for Capita Technologies Inc., where she will spearhead the Irvine company’s project management and development teams.

Boris Bugarski was named to everythingDSL.com’s board of advisors. Bugarski is president and CEO of JungleJungle Inc. in Santa Ana and consults with business development for several Internet start-up companies.


TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Verizon Wireless, Irvine, announced its executive team for the Southern California region headed by regional president and general manager Mike Finley. Finley’s group includes: Clay Berryhill, director of retail stores; Kristi Kirkpatrick, director of direct sales; Lily Huang, director of indirect sales; Conley Smith, director of marketing; and Erin Edwards, director of financial planning.


TRANSPORTATION

Clive Wheeldon was appointed senior vice president, global sales and marketing for GeoLogistics Corp. in Santa Ana. Wheeldon will direct its sales and marketing strategy worldwide.
