Technology bellwether Ingram Micro Inc. on Friday reaffirmed its guidance for the third quarter ending Oct. 1.
The Santa Ana-based technology products distributor said it expects to post net income of $48 million to $53 million during the third quarter, up more than 40% compared to a year earlier.
The forecast doesn’t include onetime charges, reorganization costs, special items or integration expenses for Ingram, the world’s biggest technology products distributor.
Ingram expects sales to be $6.8 billion to $7 billion in the period, a gain of about 15% compared to a year ago.
The guidance includes about 11 weeks of North American results from its July acquisition of AVAD.
Ingram’s sales for the second quarter were $6.8 billion, up 20% compared to a year earlier.
The company’s stock was slightly higher at $17.5.
