Orange County Printing in Irvine is set to be acquired by Houston’s Consolidated Graphics Inc.
Consolidated struck a pact Wednesday to buy Kelmscott Communications LLC, a privately held commercial printing company based in San Francisco.
Kelmscott operates Orange County Printing and six other printers in five Midwestern and West Coast states. The businesses generate $100 million in annual sales.
The deal could close by March. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Consolidated said it would tap a credit line to finance the acquisition. It has several printing companies in California, including Woodridge Press Inc. in Anaheim.
