Data analytics software maker Alteryx Inc. said third-quarter revenue was down 5% compared to a year ago, but projected it would finish 2021 with a solid increase.
Revenue for the third quarter of 2021 was $123.5 million, close to analysts’ expectations and down from $129.7 million in the third quarter of 2020. Net loss attributable to common stockholders for the third quarter ended Sept. 30 was $58 million, versus a gain of $4.4 million in the year-ago period.
Full-year 2021 revenue is expected to be in the range of $525 million to $530 million, well over last year’s figure of $495.3 million, Alteryx said.
“We continue to drive meaningful progress on our transformation across all areas of our business and are well-positioned to scale the organization into 2022,” Chief Executive Mark Anderson said in releasing the earnings.
Shares in Alteryx were down 3.7% to $71 apiece in after-hours trading for a market cap of about $4.8 billion.
