Sales of existing single-family homes and condominiums were nearly unchanged in January from December, the National Association of Realtors said Friday. Sales fell 0.1% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 6.8 million in January from 6.81 million in December. Sales were up 13.7% from January 2004.
