AstraZeneca: $1B Heart Drug Deal

AstraZeneca PLC signed a heart drug deal worth up to $1 billion with biotechnology company AtheroGenics Inc. on Thursday, as it stepped up efforts to restock a pipeline depleted by past product setbacks.
