MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center in Fountain Valley has named Emily Randle its new chief executive, effective May 1.
Randle, who has served as chief operating officer of Orange Coast Medical Center since 2012, will succeed current CEO Marcia Manker following her retirement at the end of the month.
“I am truly humbled by the opportunity to continue the strategic growth of Orange Coast Medical Center at the local level, while also strengthening our health system regionally,” Randle said in a statement.
Manker has been CEO of Orange Coast Medical Center since 2002 and previously oversaw MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center before Shela Kaneshiro assumed the role as part of Manker’s succession plan, according to MemorialCare.
MemorialCare Orange Coast and Saddleback Medical Center rank as the eighth and ninth largest hospitals in Orange County with $529.6 million and $437.6 million in net patient revenue for the year ended Sept. 30, respectively.
