City of Hope Orange County, part of one of the largest cancer research and treatment organizations in the country, today announced that it has appointed Annette Morgan as its new chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Morgan has served as City of Hope OC’s chief administrative officer since 2018 when she joined as employee No. 2.
“Orange County is Annette’s home; she was born, raised and educated here,” City of Hope OC President Annette Walker said in a statement.
“She’s giving back to the community she loves, contributing her many talents and ensuring more people with cancer have access to nationally ranked cancer treatment as we prepare to open Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital.”
Morgan will have “executive oversight of clinical operations as well as patient access, support services, business development, project management and performance improvement” in her new role, according to City of Hope.
Prior to City of Hope, she was a healthcare executive specializing in strategy and planning for eight years at Providence St. Joseph Health in Irvine.
