Din Tai Fung Opening at Irvine Spectrum in February

Din Tai Fung continues its restaurant expansion in Orange County with the newest location at Irvine Spectrum Center set to open in February.  

The Arcadia-based company said the Irvine restaurant will open Feb. 6, initially with reservations only. A grand opening is scheduled for March 2. The space will be approximately 15,000 square feet with over 300 seats, near Target.   

“Our growth at Orange County has been very intentional and really rooted in guest demand, so traffic volume is a key consideration,” Din Tai Fung spokesperson Jessica Chao told the Business Journal last July.  

Reservations at Irvine Spectrum opened today, Jan. 23.

Din Tai Fung’s first Orange County location is still open at South Coast Plaza. The restaurant group opened its second local outpost at the Downtown Disney District in 2024 and has one more in the works at the Brea Mall.
