Newport Beach-based Chipotle Mexican Grill is jumping on the World Cup bandwagon by launching three key promotions to drive traffic.
The promotions include a June 11 buy-one-get-one entrĂ©e offer, a limited-edition Chipotle soccer jersey giveaway and digital badges tied to the company’s “Rewards on Repeat” loyalty program.Â
The soccer-themed marketing arrives as the U.S. Men’s team prepares to play its first match in Los Angeles on Friday.Â
The company’s stock rose on June 5 following a positive mention from JPMorgan Chase & Co. According to multiple reports, analysts expect the stock price to rise 20% to $35 per share. On Tuesday, Chipotle’s stock increased by 3% to $30 a share with a market cap of $38.6 billion (NYSE: CMG).
